BITUBO XXF31 racing rear shock BMW HP4
BITUBO XXF31 racing rear shock BMW HP4, adjustable compression (highspeed 20 clicks/lowspeed 24 clicks) and rebound (lowspeed 24 clicks), hydraulic preload adjustable by hex nut 20 clicks (10mm), adjustable length 8mm, with ABE
Evolution and innovation was on top of the list for the BITUBO engineers when developing this racing shock. With a significant decrease in overall weight, an optimized set-up and simplifying the adjustment possibilities evolution was done.
Innovation is in the internals of the shock. The 14mm piston rod reduces the friction and the 30mm Ergal piston reduces the moving fluid masses. This together leads to a reduction of the internal forces and therefore to an immediate control of the damping even at low travel and speed.
Most adjustment possibilities are now found at the top of the shock for easy handling and even the length adjustment at the bottom is as easy as it gets with the supplied knob.
The objective is to give the rider precise control and maximum grip increase as well as a reduced and even tyre wear. Only with total trust in the suspension set-up the rider can use his BMW S1000RR to it's full potential.
In comparison to the standard version of the XXF 31 shock the preload adjustment is done via hex nut at the top of the shock. This saves the adjuster knob as well as the attaching hose.
