The Rizoma “SPORT” PROGUARD Lever Protection System (LP040BM) is a race-developed safety upgrade designed to protect your front brake or clutch lever from accidental contact—exactly the kind of split-second lever bump that can cause a sudden input and loss of control when riding in groups, lane splitting, track-day traffic, or tight street situations
 
Built for real-world risk: lever contact Even light contact on a lever—another rider’s bar end, a mirror, an object, or incidental pressure while packed in close—can unintentionally activate the lever. Proguard is engineered to create a physical barrier at the bar end, helping reduce the chance of an unintended lever pull when it matters most.
 
This is the RACE/SPORT version and is specially designed for heavy track use. The additional design and angle allows for easier release of the hand while wearing race gloves, should the rider go down at the track.
 
This SPORT/RACE Proguard version is specifically designed for hard track riding, with an additional design/angle intended to allow easier release of the hand while wearing race gloves, should the rider go down on track. That’s a detail you feel in aggressive riding positions and when you’re fully locked into the controls.
 
Rizoma adapters are required for all models. Adapter sold separately.
