With the energy accumulated by the flywheel it is possible to overcome dead spots in the work cycle and compensate for any oscillations in regime.

However, the flywheel mass has the disadvantage of opposing variations in regime, i.e. reducing engine acceleration.

The advantage of installing a Kbike lightened flywheel is that, given the lower inertia applied to the shaft, the engine can rev more quickly and therefore improves acceleration, obtaining more progressive engine management.

You will obtain better acceleration at low revs and will lose a little in maximum speed, furthermore the engine brake will be reduced, obtaining a different management of the latter.
